About Sarah
Belting Blooms is owned and run by Sarah Hall from her home in South West London. Sarah’s passion for colour, flowers, ribbons, styling and all things creative began in childhood, and nothing makes Sarah happier than dreaming about and playing with flowers.
Until last year Sarah worked for a wedding venue in Wimbledon Village and made the most of the opportunities this gave for wedding and event planning for discerning local clients. In 2021 Sarah decided to pursue her creative dream, training in floristry and setting up her own floral design studio. The name Belting Blooms reflects her Yorkshire roots and her cheerful and down-to-earth approach to life – “we do what it says on the tin”!
Belting Blooms’ Values
At Belting Blooms we are inspired by the seasons and the natural world around us. We love the quality and charm of British grown flowers, and as much as possible we use them in our work. When it is necessary to source flowers from overseas we look for ethical growers who look after their labour force and who strive to offset airmiles in other ways.
As much as possible we care for the world that provides us with our flowers. We avoid single use plastic as much as possible so, for example, our bouquets come in paper wrap and string that can all be composted. When we do larger installations we avoid floral foam and instead find reusable or biodegradable alternatives.
We are proud of our values and our commitment to offer our customers truly feel-good flowers.
